 Happy New Year
Enjoying the cuddles

ALL TOO MUCH EXCITEMENT
New Year's Eve spent at the harbour foreshore in Sydney. It was a great event, and the venue we chose was catered for families face painting, free balloons, music, and rides. Obviously my girls had a ball!  But by the end of the evening, they couldn't be bothered staying awake for the New Year countdown. But happy they were....  I hope all you too had a wonderful New Year's Eve. Have you made any resolutions for the 2012?

The walk back to our car was beautiful...especially when the streets were deserted and many of the party-goers were still partying in clubs etc.... It was strangely serene.

2012 is the year of happiness. I've decided and it'll manifest. You know how I know? I know because I know. Now how's that for annoyingly cryptic. But honestly, I think the key to my success in 2012 is just to be --- no more questions, no more doubts, no more procrastination --- none of that!

And what's more, I'm going to find the time to do those things I've wanted to do for so long but have always put off or struggled to fit in daily -- such as, finding the time to play with my kids - as in doing silly fun kid stuff, finding the time to do more crafts (at least weekly), finding the time to set up a stall in a good market (eventually), find the time to write more stuff (daily hopefully), find the time to read all those books on my shelf that are still unread (getting there...), find the time to love my life with my husband and beautiful girls and realise that it's all good this 'being' business (every moment).

They're all good things...and important to me. And my happiness makes my family happy, my family's happiness makes me happy.

We spent Saturday at a wedding picnic at Shelley Beach at Cronulla. It was very relaxed and the scenery was gorgeous. Who could ask for a better surprise wedding gift than a beautiful rainbow?

Carpe Diem in 2012!
